Annasthasia Wrye, LPC
Annasthasia, also known as Annie, has been working in the mental health field since she graduated from Lock Haven University with her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2014. She has a lot of experience working with children but has worked with people of all ages. She started as a Crisis worker in Centre County then took a position as a TSS, now a called a BHT, and then moved on to become a case manager. Annasthasia then started working as an administrative professional at an office that offered medication management, primary care, weight management, and therapy while going to graduate. She left her administrative position and took an opening for a bachelor’s level family therapist for her internship and stayed there until she got her degree in Marriage and Family therapy. Annie then took a master’s level position as a school-based therapist at the Philipsburg Elementary School for a year then moved on to take a position as an outpatient therapist and school-based therapist at the Cur wensville school. After a little over two years and earning her license as a Professional Counselor she accepted a position at a small company in Clearfield, PA where she worked as an outpatient therapist. Annie chose to join Sun Pointe in December of 2024.
When not at work Annasthasia enjoys spending time with her husband, her dog, two cats, and two axolotls. She likes to be outside hiking, swimming, and kayaking during the warm parts of the year. When it is too cold outside or raining you can find her reading, doing a puzzle, putting together Legos, or playing board games.
